Course Description:

If you’ve taken our Defesive Rifle Level 1 (AR) course, you qualify for this level 2 course. Ready for a fast paced day to take your skills to the next level?

Research and our own experience in our Force-on-Force classes show one of the most common injuries in a fight are injuries to the hands. If you take one of your hands out of the fight, can you still properly operate your weapon?

This course will take the skills you learned about operating your weapon, reloading, and clearing malfunctions, and force you to do all these things with one hand out of play. In addition, we will work on shooting from compromised positions.

In addition, this course will combine Moving & Shooting skills, where you will learn how to effectively shoot while moving.

Standing still in a gunfight will get you killed. You are either pressing the attack, retreating, moving toward cover, or moving toward an objective. Being able to manipulate your weapon one handed, weak handed, and while moving are vital to your success. This course will make extensive use of footwork, weapon control, and shot placement while on the move.

Sling (Single, Two, or Three Point is fine)

Magazine carry method
Approximately 350 rounds of ammunition

If you have attended an AR rifle course at another facility where you are familiar with all operations and clearing all malfunctions you will be accepted.

About This Course:

Many people think they know how to operate a handgun or to shoot accurately. However, do you know how to rapidly deploy your handgun in a stressful situation, make a successful hit, reload your weapon, and perform them all within 3 seconds?

If you are considering carrying a handgun for personal defense, or just want to keep one in your nightstand, this is a vital course for you. Regardless of how many rounds you have fired at your local range, you will learn how to use your handgun in real world situation.

This course is designed for those who have a basic understanding of handguns, but want to learn how to utilize it in a defensive situation.

Holster (No SERPA Retention Holsters, No Belly Band Holsters)

It is strongly recommended you have your own handgun and holster for this class. If you do not, please contact us and we can arrange for you to rent a handgun and borrow a holster.

All participants should bring ear and eye protection and dress appropriately for the weather.

Required Prerequisites:

You must know how to properly load your weapon, operate the slide action (and any safeties), Understand sight alignment and trigger control. If you are brand new to handguns or feel you need more training in the basics, please sign up for the Basic Handgun course prior to attending this course.

Defensive Firearms Mindset is highly recommended but not required.

About This Course:

We want to think our church is a place of refuge where we can safely grow a relationship with our God, family, and fellow congregation. Unfortunately, churches are quickly becoming one of the most targeted places for violence.

Many churches have started safety or security teams, but they often lack the ability to give proper training and guidance to the team members. In too many instances the church board simply finds the person in the congregation who happens to be a police officer, tags them to develop a security plan, and then opens it up to volunteers. While this is certainly better than having nothing in place, this approach can leave many holes in a fully comprehensive security plan.

Getting a full team together to offer training has issues. People have complicated schedules. Training facilities are limited. Training courses may offer some of the base skills, but they are not tailored to the church environment.

While we offer full advisement, planning, and training packages to churches, we found many other instances where individual safety team members understand it is “up to them” to get the training required. This course will help individuals who have been tasked to serve their church in a security or safety team role to be better prepared. In addition, several topics will be discussed they can take back to their organizations to help implement a more comprehensive plan.

About This Course:

Many people think they know how to operate a rifle and shoot accurately. For most, this has included taking their rifle to a range and shooting at paper targets until they could consistently hit a bull’s-eye. However, this is NOT fighting with your rifle. Can you rapidly deploy your rifle in a stressful situation, clear any malfunctions, and make successful hits all within 3 seconds?
If you are new to the AR platform, or have only used it for target practice, this is a vital course. This a basic level course, but even more experienced weapon operators will gain additional experience in using the weapon for defensive situations.

This course covers proper stance and grip, and covers topics such as point-of-aim versus point-of impact, various methods to sight your rifle, reloads, and weapon malfunctions. Discussion will include different optics, slings, and other rifle accessories.

Required Equipment:

Good quality magazine fed weapon (AR platform in 5.56/.223, 9mm, 6.8spc, etc.)

Approximately 100 rounds of rifle ammunition

Rifle Sling

2 extra rifle magazines and a method to carry those magazines

About This Course:

So many people think going to a range, standing still and punching holes in paper is “training.” In reality we have to train for high stress events that will demand dynamic reaction and a high level of preparedness. That requires training that helps truly introduce you what it means to make the weapons an extension of yourself.

This class and series is for those who want to be better shooters and begin to translate shooting skills to what it means to actually fight with your firearms. This is about becoming a protector and asset to your family and community while beginning to touch the Savage piece of you modern society has demanded you suppress.

DAY 1 RANGE: Are you ready to handle the possible threats life can present in order to protect yourself and your family? Day 1 you'll learn the HOW and WHY of shooting, drawing, and loading your gun all with a focus of being a fighter and not a range ranger.

DAY 2 RANGE: Mobility and situational awareness is crucial in a gunfight, and having built a solid foundation we will introduce moving, multiple targets, shooting from cover, and non-standard shooting positions.

QUALITY Holster. Kydex preferred (NO Serpa Holsters due to insurance regulations)

About This Course:

This course is designed for rifle owners who wish to enhance their skills and proficiency in precision shooting at extended distances. This comprehensive course is tailored to equip participants with the knowledge, techniques, and mindset required to engage targets accurately and consistently at long ranges.

Topics Include:

Ballistics and External Factors: Students will gain a deep understanding of long-range ballistics, wind estimation, environmental effects, and other external factors that impact bullet flight. They will learn how to apply this knowledge to make accurate adjustments for various shooting scenarios.

Shooting techniques, including body positioning, breathing control, trigger control, follow-through, and sight picture refinement. Students will practice these techniques to enhance their overall shooting performance.

Approximately 200 rounds of ammunition (see list below for recommended types) We have noticed several issues with handloaded ammunition. Therefore for this course you MUST use factory ammunition.
