About This Course:

In the United States we are blessed with usually having timely access to hospitals and advanced life support treatment. Even in the remote areas, as long as we can establish communications and provide a location we can generally expect to get transport relatively quickly.

Tactical Combat Casualty Care, Paramedic or EMT protocols, and even Pre-Hospital Trauma Life Support are highly successful in reducing mortality rates, but they all assume you are able to transport the patient to a trauma center within a relative short period of time. However, there are scenarios where that isn’t possible.

In remote survival situations where you are unable to communicate due to loss of cellular coverage, in natural disaster areas where cellular or radio transmission towers are destroyed, or in foreign countries with less professional responders you may find yourself having to care for a wounded person beyond the normal timeframe.

This course is based on the Military Special Operations Primary Field Care program for trauma patients. It introduces the students to techniques and strategies beyond TCCC to reduce mortality in the absence of appropriate medical or surgical care when in an austere and resource constrained environment.

This is NOT a wilderness first aid course

Many people think they know how to operate a handgun or to shoot accurately. However, do you know how to rapidly deploy your handgun in a stressful situation, make a successful hit, reload your weapon, and perform them all within 3 seconds?

If you are considering carrying a handgun for personal defense, or just want to keep one in your nightstand, this is a vital course for you. Regardless of how many rounds you have fired at your local range, you will learn how to use your handgun in real world situation.

This course is designed for those who have a basic understanding of handguns, but want to learn how to utilize it in a defensive situation.

Required Prerequisites:

You must know how to properly load your weapon, operate the slide action (and any safeties), Understand sight alignment and trigger control. If you are brand new to handguns or feel you need more training in the basics, please sign up for the Basic Handgun course prior to attending this course.

Defensive Firearms Mindset is highly recommended but not required.

About This Course:

If you are considering (or have already) purchasing a handgun, it is vital you get training in proper operation. While your friend/spouse/parent can help, quality professional training can make an extreme difference in your ability to safely and effectively handle your handgun.

This course is for those new to the handgun platform, new to their particular gun, or those who simply want to refresh the fundamentals.

For those who are new to handguns and are considering taking our defensive handgun level 1 course, this will lay the groundwork for you to successfully get the maximum benefit.

Body mechanics (Foundation, Grip, Presentation, etc)

With the world becoming a more dangerous place, many people are considering getting a firearm for personal protection. For others, they simply want to get a firearm to exercise their Second Amendment rights. Regardless of the reason, knowing which firearm to purchase, what the differences are between types, and how to store and handle the firearm safety are all paramount. This course will introduce participants to the various types of firearms, ammunition, and other accessories. You will leave knowing what the best is for your given purposes, and what models generally perform better than others. In addition, you will understand what type of ammunition to buy for training and for various purposes, and some of the more desired accessories.

Safe handling and storage will be covered in detail, helping you make sure your firearm only discharges when you want it to and in the correct direction.

About This Course:

Many people think they know how to operate a rifle and shoot accurately. For most, this has included taking their rifle to a range and shooting at paper targets until they could consistently hit a bull’s-eye. However, this is NOT fighting with your rifle. Can you rapidly deploy your rifle in a stressful situation, clear any malfunctions, and make successful hits all within 3 seconds?
If you are new to the AR platform, or have only used it for target practice, this is a vital course. This a basic level course, but even more experienced weapon operators will gain additional experience in using the weapon for defensive situations.

This course covers proper stance and grip, and covers topics such as point-of-aim versus point-of impact, various methods to sight your rifle, reloads, and weapon malfunctions. Discussion will include different optics, slings, and other rifle accessories.

Required Equipment:

Good quality magazine fed weapon (AR platform in 5.56/.223, 9mm, 6.8spc, etc.)

Approximately 100 rounds of rifle ammunition

Rifle Sling

2 extra rifle magazines and a method to carry those magazines

If there is something you do not have, inform us in advance and we can arrange for you to borrow.

About This Course:

The shotgun is one of the most misunderstood weapon systems, but also one of the most versatile. While many people have used a shotgun to hunt, or to shoot cans, proper utilization in a defensive situation is much different. Ammunition selection, how to change ammunition mid fight, strengths and limitations, extra shell placement, are all things that must be considered to get the most out of the weapon. We will cover various techniques for deploying the shotgun in different scenarios to allow the operator to get the most out of this tool. If you are considering having a shotgun as part of your home defense plan, or you are a patrol officer who wants to get better at its utilization, this is a vital course for you. Regardless of how many rounds you have fired at your local range or while hunting, you will learn how to use your shotgun in real world situations.

Tactical shotgun, pump or automatic, gauge does not matter
Method to carry extra shells (Side saddle preferred… stock saddle, sling strap, belt pouch, etc are all fine).

About This Course:

If you have a rifle, chances are you also have a handgun. Being able to properly use the 2 platforms in concert with each other is a vital skill. There are times when quickly switching to your handgun is an advantage, but you must be able to do so smoothly and efficiently. This course will help teach you the basics of transitioning from rifle to handgun and back.

About This Course:

This course is designed for rifle owners who wish to enhance their skills and proficiency in precision shooting at extended distances. This comprehensive course is tailored to equip participants with the knowledge, techniques, and mindset required to engage targets accurately and consistently at long ranges.

Topics Include:

Ballistics and External Factors: Students will gain a deep understanding of long-range ballistics, wind estimation, environmental effects, and other external factors that impact bullet flight. They will learn how to apply this knowledge to make accurate adjustments for various shooting scenarios.

Shooting techniques, including body positioning, breathing control, trigger control, follow-through, and sight picture refinement. Students will practice these techniques to enhance their overall shooting performance.

Data Analysis and Record Keeping: Students will learn the importance of data analysis and record keeping for long-range shooting. They will explore methods for tracking shot placement, calculating adjustments, and maintaining comprehensive shooting logs to refine their shooting skills over time.

In today’s world, trauma doesn’t just happen on the battlefield or in hospitals—it happens in our neighborhoods, homes, workplaces, and schools. Natural disasters, violent incidents, personal loss, and other distressing events can leave everyday people feeling overwhelmed, frightened, or isolated. When someone we care about experiences trauma, it’s natural to want to help—but many of us don’t know how to respond in a way that’s truly supportive.
