Anatomy in the Fight
About This Course:
If you carry a weapon for self-defense, you need to know how that weapon will perform in a real fight. If you are wounded, you best know the realities of your wound.
Many myths surround firearms, knives, impact weapons, and bare fists. The realities are often far different. Understanding and being able to visualize human anatomy during a violent encounter will allow you a better ability to survive those encounters.
Taught by a medical doctor, this training will allow you to neutralize your attacker more effectively, reducing your own risk and the risk of those you want to protect.
Doc really talks about the various places vital organs are at on a person. He actually does this by having people put on a t-shirt and drawing in 3D where various things are located. He then talks about what a firearm wound or knife wound in various locations really means to survivability and the ability to continue to fight.
The course really helps bridge the gap between the worlds of firearms, knives, and medical. It is good for medical people to understand the real places you need to be worried about, and it is good for firearms/knife people to know where to really hit to do damage.
