    About This Course:

The reality is most gunfights in the domestic United States will take place up close and personal.  The idea you will be shooting your adversary at 25 yards is usually a myth and a mindset which makes it easier for you to feel safe after going to the range and practicing your marksmanship aimed at static paper targets. Statistics show the majority of gunfights happen within 3 yards, and many within arms reach.  Some places will teach you to create distance from your adversary, but we teach if you find yourself in a deadly encounter to get close, interrupt their OODA loop, end the fight, and go home.

This course will teach you how to fire your weapons without sights, quickly, in close, and with potential other obstacles in the way.

    Equipment Required:

    • Semi-Automatic Handgun

    • Holster (NO Serpa Holsters due to insurance regulations)

    • 3 Magazines

    • Magazine carry method for at least 1 spare magazine

    • Approximately 300 rounds of ammunition

    • Eye and Ear protection

    •  T-Shirt or Sweatshirt you don't mind destroying

    •  Please equip yourself as you would carrying during everyday life.  No battle belts, chest rigs, etc unless that is how you go the grocery store (police duty gear is acceptable)

    Prerequisites:

Defensive Handgun Level 2, or equivalent training through us or at another recognized facility.  You must have above average weapon safety understandings and muzzle discipline.  Please contact us with any questions about these prerequisites.

    Notes:

This course is available to those 18 and over.

This is a very advanced course, it isn't overly physical must you must have your brain engaged at all times.

    About This Course:

Although the most probable engagement distance in the real world will be under 25 yards, there are times when probable isn’t actual.  It could be a hostage situation from an extended distance, it could be an active shooter down a long hallway, or it could be someone outside using cover to prevent you from closing the distance.

    Course Topics:

    • Long distance pistol fundamentals
    • Stability positions and how to properly utilize them
    • Movement between various ranges
    • Point of aim versus point of impact at various ranges

    • Duty / Everyday Carry Handgun
    • Iron sights or red dot
    • At least 2 magazines
    • 200 rounds of ammunition (we will likely shoot less)

    About This Course:

What do you do if your family member, friend, or co-worker suddenly experiences a medical emergency? Do you know how to access the situation and provide treatment prior to the ambulance arriving? Can you keep them alive until more definitive treatment is available? Many medical emergencies can result in fatality before the ambulance arrives.

Understanding a few key treatment options will allow you to increase the chance of survival. Knowing what to tell the medics when they do arrive will help reduce their time on scene, allowing the patient to arrive at the hospital quicker. Many first aid courses focus on what to do in the event of trauma, but don’t adequately prepare people in the event of non-trauma medical emergencies.

This course will cover what to do in the event of:

    • Scene Preparation

    • Dealing with Bystanders

    • Asthma Attacks

    • Seizures

    • Strokes

    • Allergic Reactions

    • Heat Casualties

    • Diabetic Episodes

    Equipment Required:

    Pen and Paper for Notes

    Prerequisites:

    None

    Special Notes:

Open to ages 14+ with a parent.

    About This Course:

The shotgun is one of the most misunderstood weapon systems, but also one of the most versatile. While many people have used a shotgun to hunt, or to shoot cans, proper utilization in a defensive situation is much different. Ammunition selection, how to change ammunition mid fight, strengths and limitations, extra shell placement, are all things that must be considered to get the most out of the weapon. We will cover various techniques for deploying the shotgun in different scenarios to allow the operator to get the most out of this tool. If you are considering having a shotgun as part of your home defense plan, or you are a patrol officer who wants to get better at its utilization, this is a vital course for you. Regardless of how many rounds you have fired at your local range or while hunting, you will learn how to use your shotgun in real world situations.

    Equipment Required:

    • Tactical shotgun, pump or automatic, gauge does not matter

    • Method to carry extra shells (Side saddle preferred… stock saddle, sling strap, belt pouch, etc are all fine).

    • 75 rounds of number 7 or 8 birdshot

    • 5 rounds of 00 buckshot

    • 5 rounds of slugs.

    • Ear and Eye protection

If you do not have a weapon, you can use one of ours (simply pay for the ammunition).

    Prerequisites:

    Solid understanding of firearm safety

    Notes:

Course is open to those 14+ when a parent attends

    About This Course

In today’s world, trauma doesn’t just happen on the battlefield or in hospitals—it happens in our neighborhoods, homes, workplaces, and schools. Natural disasters, violent incidents, personal loss, and other distressing events can leave everyday people feeling overwhelmed, frightened, or isolated. When someone we care about experiences trauma, it’s natural to want to help—but many of us don’t know how to respond in a way that’s truly supportive.

This course was designed to fill that gap.

This course is an empowering 8-hour classroom-based training that teaches everyday people how to be an effective source of calm, compassion, and stability in the aftermath of a crisis. You don’t need a degree in psychology to make a difference—you just need the right tools, understanding, and approach.

Participants will learn how to recognize signs of emotional and psychological distress, offer practical support without causing harm, and avoid common mistakes that can unintentionally deepen trauma. Whether you’re a parent, coworker, friend, teacher, or simply someone who wants to be better prepared to support others in difficult times, this course gives you the skills to step up with confidence.

This training is not a replacement for professional mental health care—it’s a bridge. A way to help others get from the moment of crisis to a place where healing can begin. And along the way, you’ll learn how to take care of yourself, too.

    Topics Covered:

Understanding psychological trauma and its immediate impact

The principles of psychological first aid (PFA)

How to communicate calmly and effectively with someone in distress

Providing support without pushing, judging, or retraumatizing

Identifying red flags that indicate the need for professional help

    Setting boundaries while offering help

Recognizing and managing your own stress responses as a helper

How to support children and teens after a crisis

    Building personal and community resilience

Resources and referral tools for further support

    Equipment required:

    An open mind

    Pen and paper

    Prerequisites:

    None
