    About This Course:

We want to think our church is a place of refuge where we can safely grow a relationship with our God, family, and fellow congregation. Unfortunately, churches are quickly becoming one of the most targeted places for violence.

Many churches have started safety or security teams, but they often lack the ability to give proper training and guidance to the team members. In too many instances the church board simply finds the person in the congregation who happens to be a police officer, tags them to develop a security plan, and then opens it up to volunteers. While this is certainly better than having nothing in place, this approach can leave many holes in a fully comprehensive security plan.

Getting a full team together to offer training has issues. People have complicated schedules. Training facilities are limited. Training courses may offer some of the base skills, but they are not tailored to the church environment.

While we offer full advisement, planning, and training packages to churches, we found many other instances where individual safety team members understand it is “up to them” to get the training required. This course will help individuals who have been tasked to serve their church in a security or safety team role to be better prepared. In addition, several topics will be discussed they can take back to their organizations to help implement a more comprehensive plan.

    Topics Covered:

Situational Awareness before, during, and after the service

    De-escalation techniques for church environments

    Firearms and other weapons considerations

Safeguarding the offering and financial contributions

    Protecting the children

Medical issues, fires, weather events, and other safety emergencies

    Legal liability

    Equipment Required:

    Notepad and Pen

    Prerequisites:

    None

    Notes:

This course is primarily aimed at individual safety team members but will help guide the basis for an overall church plan.

This is a fast paced course with many topics covered

Follow-on training is available to go deeper into each topic

    About this course:

In today’s American society things are rather peaceful and organized. Rule of law is easily maintained due to the systems that are in place. There is a smooth supply of resources and enough for everyone. There are police officers patrolling the streets every minute of the day. There is a large cellular and Wi-Fi network nationwide that keeps everyone connected instantaneously. Because of these systems our society is rather pleasant and easy to live in.

But, what happens if there is an event that disrupts these systems? If the resources no longer move, police become outnumbered and ineffective, and communications is no longer simple and effortless? How do you maintain the security of your loved ones in a society much more volatile and unfamiliar than the one we currently have? If these things happen, our society becomes the opposite of peaceful and organized. Criminals will be much freer to do as they please without fear of police interception. Even supposedly “good” people may become dangerous due to simply wanting to provide for their family. If these things were to happen, the world as we know it will become far more dangerous to a point that it’s almost difficult to imagine.

However, that doesn’t mean there isn’t hope to make it through it! The people that plan and train for that ahead of time will have a much higher probability of survival for themselves and those around them. A person’s ability to unite those around them for a common goal and fight as a team with those people in a tactical environment against a common enemy will be paramount for security of them and those they love. That is the only way to survive a scenario described above; unite and survive together using sound tactics. That is what the class Guerilla Marksman is about!

This class teaches students the basis for uniting a small element of people, preparing equipment, and using tactics commonly used by guerilla fighters throughout history. There is a heavy emphasis on rifle marksmanship because that has always been what makes guerilla fighters the most effective; they are accurate with their weapons and able to cause maximum damage with minimum ammunition and resources. All of this is done while remaining in the field, including overnight.

    Training Plan:

Training will begin at the meeting location with discussion and equipment preparation. Don’t feel your equipment is fully ready? Don’t sweat it! At the start of class you will get to see what well configured support gear looks like, and have time to reconfigure yours as needed.

Students will be structured into a few tactical elements with leadership using a “Chain of Command”. The entire class will be conducted as teams and leadership positions will rotate. Come prepared to operate as a team with people you have not met.

Your weapon not zeroed? Don’t sweat it! You will have time to zero and configure your weapon as needed. There will be an emphasis on individual rifle marksmanship and several firing drills that you will conduct.

All vehicles will be left at the meeting location for the duration of training and you will be staying in the field overnight. Any range gear that you cannot carry on-person will be transported to the firing point for you. Any gear you need for the night, MUST be carried on-person for the duration of class. Access to vehicles will be possible, but highly discouraged to maximize training value.

    Equipment Required:

This list is mandatory only. If you have equipment not listed that you want to train with, bring it. Many important things such as fire kits, first aid kits, etc. can be provided as needed. About this Course:

This course is part of the Sidney Reilly Experience

A master spy needs to know how to maintain environmental awareness. But just knowing what is going on around you is not enough. You have to be able to read the clues and predict what may be coming. Are you in safe, or do certain clues help you see what could become a very dangerous situation?

In addition to reading the situational awareness, you need to be able to read people, often from a distance. Can you tell who may be out of place in the room without looking at facial features or clothing? Not just to predict threats, but to spot potential allies, potential obstacles, etc. You need to be able to walk in a room and know if something goes wrong, who might be able help you as much as who might be there to hurt you.

The skills learned in this course will help prepare you to excel in the later courses in the series.

This course will cover the following topics:

    • Increasing Overall Situational Awareness

    • Reading and Interpreting the Baseline

    • Reading and Interpreting Clues in the Flow

    • Reading and Interpreting Body Language from a Distance

We guarantee this course will change the way you see crowds and individuals.

Other Courses in the Series Include:

    • Surveillance and Counter-Surveillance

    About This Course:

When there is an item located in a building on a compound, getting to and securing that item is a multi-step process. First you have to be able to safely approach the building. Then you have to secure the exterior of the building. Once the exterior is secure, you make entry and retrieve the item. Finally, you have to safely escape the compound with the item. The military goes through this process when they have to raid a structure to obtain intelligence material, or to extract a hostage or high value prisoner. Law enforcement has to do this when they effect an arrest on a dangerous suspect. As a civilian, many of the same principles may apply if there is a suspicious noise in your exterior garage.

This course combines elements of small squad tactics, urban assault, and close quarters battle (cqb). While it impossible to teach a student how to be proficient in these disciplines in a 2 day course, the teamwork, communication, and decision making in chaos scenarios is useful in a wide variety of everyday events.

    Equipment Required:

    CO2 / Green-Gas/Electric powered airsoft rifle

1,000 rounds of 6mm airsoft rounds and sufficient CO2 cartridges/gas/batteries depending on your platform

    Airsoft face mask / Goggles

Throat protection (a scarf is fine)

This course will have a force-on-force aspect utilizing airsoft rifles. We will have rifles, ammunition, gas, and limited safety equipment available to rent for the course if you do not have your own equipment. It is HIGHLY recommended you buy your own mask prior to the course (we can send you recommendations)

    Prerequisites:

None. Small Unit Tactics and CQB will be highly useful but not required

    Note:

This course is fast-paced with a lot of material covered in a short period of time. Expect to be frustrated and always feeling like you are behind the curve. This course is specifically designed to challenge you in the middle of chaos.

This course will run until approximately 6:30pm on Saturday, and will conclude approximately 4pm Sunday

Open to ages 16+ with parent in attendance

    Price:

    $325
