About This Class:
This class is focused on understanding, actualizing and building functional principles, concepts and skills of purposeful movement – both unarmed and armed applications while progressing from disadvantageous position/situation to dominating the fight.
Escape is often perceived as disengagement, retreat, as “running away”.
In a context of trained applicable tactic, escape is a controlled reset of the initiative.
Loading the process of that reset with robust proactive measures and trained and pressure tested multi-disciplinary skills transforms it from hasty retreat into wholesome, quick and seamless transition to situation of opportunity and domination.
The class will follow the pattern of reverse engineering from problem end point to solutions along the process then back to the very starting point. Each component of solutions will be demonstrated, explained, practiced and pressure tested. It involves evolutions of elevated level of contact between the practitioners, segments of live fire practice.
