About This Course:
If you have even been stuck in the ditch, a snow bank, or had a breakdown in a remote area you know how difficult it can be to get back on the road. Hundreds of people are seriously injured or killed every year because they use improper techniques for pulling a vehicle out, and thousands of cars are damaged from chains, sticks, and ropes being improperly used.
If you work with disaster services, you know there are often times when you come upon other vehicles stuck in flood water, blocking the road, etc.
If you are an off-road enthusiast, you are all too familiar with getting stuck.
This is NOT just a course for those in DS or who do off-roading though. The skills taught in this course can be utilized by anyone who drives a vehicle. You do NOT have to have a winch, truck, or tow hitch to use some of these principles.
In addition, there will be a field repair portion to teach you how to safely get home if you lose a tire, belt, hose, or brake issue.
