About This Class:

If you are switching to a red/green dot optic on your handgun, one of the most important aspects is making sure the optic is properly mounted. This course will help you insure you get the most out of your optic from start to thousands of rounds.

This course will cover optic selection, slide selection, slide cuts, mounting plates, co-witness, proper installation, and bore sighting.

Red/Green Dot Optic

Manual for Optic

Properly Milled Slide

Slide Mounting Plate

Latex Free Gloves

Please bring your full handgun (NO AMMO) to bore sight after installation

Optional Equipment:

Torque Screwdriver

Vibra-Tite VC3 Thread Locker

Oil Based Paint Marker (Fine Tip, 2 colors)

Note:

You may also bring your pistol having already mounted the optic. We will remove, check, and re-install, or you can simply take the class to learn how to do your next install.
