About This Course:

The inevitable thing about being in a gunfight is that the goodguy can get hurt. Often that includes you getting hurt. However, when the fight is raging on, you still have to focus on neutralizing the threat and then treating the wounds. “Winning the gunfight” is great, but more important is “Winning and Surviving”. This course will help you prepare to do both.

This course is a blend of skills taught in our shooting and medical classes. This course focuses on handgun engagements.  This is VERY MUCH a handgun course.

Rapid Care While Moving

Self-Extrication

Victim Movement Techniques

Equipment Required:

Semi-Automatic Handgun

Holster (NO Serpa Holsters due to insurance regulations)

3 Magazines

Magazine carry method

Approximately 350 rounds of ammunition

Eye and Ear protection

If you have a TRAINING IFAK, bring it. We will have ones to borrow

Prerequisites:

Handgun Level 2 or equivalent

Stop the Bleed or higher equivalent (TCCC, EMT, etc)
